2.004 Dynamics & Control II
Lab Assistant, Fall 2023 - Present; Student, Spring 2023
I took, and now teach, the upper-level core class for dynamics and controls in MIT MechE. I support the instructors in weekly labs, answering students’ questions and guiding them as they complete the material. We have periodic meetings to go over the lab curriculum and update lab components and robots used for teaching that need it. Labs include balancing an unstable “Segway” robot, implementing a magnetic levitation control system, stabilizing an active gimbal, and deriving transfer functions of unknown systems. I also grade lab assignments and give feedback. As a student of 2.004, I won the competition for longest-balancing Segway robot and performed very well in labs.
